Motor Transport Management System

NetSol's Motor Transport Management System (MTMS) has successfully been implemented & deployed in Pakistan for Azad Jammu & Kashmir Motor Vehicle Registration Authority, Muzaffarabad as Motor Vehicle Registration System (MVRS).

NetSol MTMS is a distributed database system, which caters registration process in an automated manner. It?s a client server based application, which automates the motor vehicle registration process and the taxation system. MTMS provides a reliable and a secured replacement of manual processes & is of great help for the citizens by providing them a speedy & a simple processing mechanism for vehicle registration.

MTMS being a distributed system has total of eight databases called District Sites, they are connected to one main database called the Master Site. Applications from customers are received at the District Sites and the information is then loaded in the Master site on daily basis. The main advantage of keeping data on Master site is that Annual/monthly/weekly/daily reports concerning taxation can be obtained from any site.

MTMS has a rule based taxation system. However, if the government implements a new rule, it is added in the master site and all district sites are to be updated in one day?s time. NetSol carried out the RS, FS and application development of this system.
